Product Description

Glaze N Seal Olé is a premium high gloss sealer for Saltillo tile, Tecate pavers, and other porous terra cotta surfaces. Designed to enhance color while providing long-lasting protection, this terra cotta tile sealer delivers a durable, beautiful finish with fewer coats.

This advanced formula combines acrylic polymer technology with anti-mar agents, UV inhibitors, and oil and grease blockers, making it an ideal Mexican tile sealer for both residential and commercial applications.

Preparation

Proper surface preparation is critical for best results. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of efflorescence, dirt, oil, wax, grease, and old sealers. If acid cleaning was used, the surface must be neutralized and thoroughly rinsed before applying the sealer. Use a neutralizing rinse and follow all label instructions.

Application

Apply using a paint pad applicator, brush, or low-pressure or airless sprayer. Apply 2 or more thin, even coats. Allow at least 4 hours drying time between coats. Do not over-apply or allow product to puddle.

Surface can be used after 24 hours, with full strength and stain resistance developing over approximately 3 weeks.

Coverage: First coat 150-200 sq ft per gallon. Additional coats 200-300 sq ft per gallon.

Cautions

Always test in a small area before full application to ensure proper bonding, appearance, and stain protection. For dense or previously sealed surfaces, the first coat may be diluted with water to improve adhesion.

May also be used as a grout release when applied 48 hours before grouting. After grouting, allow 24 hours before sealing grout lines.

Maintenance

Indoors . . . Maintain with a compatible floor polish for added protection and longevity. Clean regularly using a neutral cleaner and damp mop. Use a heavy-duty cleaner for deep cleaning when necessary.

Outdoors . . . Clean with water or a neutral cleaner as needed. Reapply sealer periodically to maintain appearance and protection.

Reapply as needed after removing any wax or polish buildup.
