These electric snow melting mats provide efficient and even heat coverage to improve safety, reduce winter maintenance, and eliminate the need for constant shoveling or de-icing chemicals.
SunTouch ProMelt systems are ideal for both residential and commercial snow melting applications and can be installed under concrete, asphalt, pavers, stone, and other outdoor surfaces.

How to Select the Correct SunTouch ProMelt Mat:
1. Choose the operating voltage: 120V, 208V, 240V, or 277V.
2. Determine the required heat output based on your climate and snowfall conditions. Most snow melting systems use 50 Watts per Sq. Ft. for effective snow and ice melting. In moderate climates or light commercial or residential applications, 38 Watts per Sq. Ft. may be sufficient.
3. Measure the total area that requires snow melting coverage. Do not include areas under permanent fixtures such as planters or built-in structures. Maintain a 3" to 6" spacing from slab edges and avoid crossing expansion joints whenever possible.
Add the total square footage and select the closest matching ProMelt mat sizes. Mats are available in both 2 ft. and 3 ft. widths.
