Nuheat Harmony Programmable Floor Heating Thermostat - HMY110 / HMY220
The Nuheat Harmony is a programmable thermostat designed to control electric floor heating systems. Available in both 120VAC and 240VAC versions, the Harmony regulates heating output based on the selected temperature and measured floor temperature.
Designed for indoor electric underfloor heating applications, the Harmony provides programmable temperature control with automatic and manual operating modes, temporary temperature override, and a selectable floor temperature limit for different flooring materials.

Programmable Floor Heating Control
The Harmony allows users to program their electric floor heating system according to their daily schedule. Automatic mode follows the programmed temperature settings, providing floor heating during the periods when it is needed.
The thermostat can also be operated manually when a programmed schedule is not required. A temporary temperature adjustment can be made without permanently changing the programmed schedule.
Automatic and Manual Operating Modes
The Harmony provides Automatic and Manual operating modes. Automatic mode follows the programmed heating schedule, while Manual mode allows the desired floor temperature to be controlled directly.
The temporary bypass feature allows the temperature setpoint to be temporarily changed while the thermostat remains in its programmed operating schedule.
Floor Temperature Control
The Harmony uses an external floor temperature sensor to monitor and control the temperature of the heated floor. The thermostat activates the heating system when the measured floor temperature is below the selected setpoint and stops heating when the desired temperature is reached.
The floor temperature sensor also allows the thermostat to monitor the floor temperature when a temperature limit is configured.
Selectable Floor Temperature Protection
The Harmony includes a selectable floor temperature limit designed for different flooring materials. In the Normal setting, intended for ceramic and concrete floors, the maximum floor temperature is 104°F (40°C).
For laminate and engineered wood flooring, the thermostat can be configured to the Limited setting, which restricts the maximum floor temperature to 82°F (28°C). Nuheat specifies that the Limited setting must be used for laminate and engineered wood floor applications.
Built-In Class A GFCI Protection
The Harmony includes Class A 5mA GFCI protection designed to help protect against electrical ground faults. Dedicated TEST and RESET functions allow the GFCI to be tested and reset.
If the GFCI detects leakage current exceeding its trip level, it interrupts power to the heating load. The TEST function can be used to verify GFCI operation, while the RESET function restores normal operation after a successful test.
Refer to the manufacturer's installation and operating instructions for complete GFCI testing procedures and operating information.

Temperature and Time Display
The Harmony allows the temperature to be displayed in either °C or °F. The thermostat also supports either a 12-hour or 24-hour time display through its configuration settings.
Recommended Applications
The Nuheat Harmony is designed for indoor electric floor heating applications where programmable floor temperature control is desired. It can be used with electric radiant floor heating systems in residential spaces such as bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, and other areas with heated floors.
The selectable floor temperature limit also makes the thermostat suitable for applications using ceramic, concrete, laminate, and engineered wood flooring when configured according to the applicable floor temperature requirements.
Installation Information
Verify that the selected Harmony model matches the electrical requirements of the floor heating system. The HMY110 is designed for 120VAC systems, while the HMY220 is designed for 240VAC systems. The connected resistive heating load must not exceed 15A or the applicable maximum wattage rating.
The floor temperature sensor should be installed and connected according to the manufacturer's instructions. Proper line and load connections are required for the built-in GFCI protection to operate correctly.
Because the Harmony connects directly to line voltage, installation should be performed by a certified electrician in accordance with applicable local electrical codes and requirements.
Important: Review the complete installation and operating instructions before installing or operating the thermostat. Verify compatibility with the electric floor heating system and the selected thermostat model.
