Thin Set Installation Instructions
1. Determine the Installation Location
Select the desired location on the shower wall or bathroom wall, ensuring the soap dish is positioned at a comfortable and convenient height.
2. Prepare the Wall Surface
Cut the opening to match the back insert dimensions and remove any dust or debris from the installation area.
3. Apply Thin Set Mortar
Using a notched trowel, evenly apply thin set mortar to the back of the ceramic soap dish.
4. Install the Soap Dish
Firmly press the soap dish into the prepared wall opening while aligning it evenly with the surrounding tile surface.
5. Allow Proper Cure Time
Allow the thin set mortar to cure according to manufacturer recommendations, typically 24 hours.
6. Finish the Installation
Apply grout around the edges to seal gaps and create a finished appearance. Clean excess grout or mortar from the surrounding tile and ceramic surface.
