Important Sealing Information: Using an enhancing sealer will darken the color of these stones. A penetrating sealer is recommended prior to installation to help protect the stone while maintaining its natural appearance.
Recommended Installation Surfaces:
- Properly cured mortar beds - ANSI A108.1B (minimum 7 days cured)
- Cementitious backer units (CBU) - ANSI A118.9
- Concrete slabs cured for a minimum of 28 days
- Gypsum board for dry areas only - ASTM C1396 or ASTM C1396M-04
- ANSI A108A-2.1.8 membrane required behind all CBU installations in wet areas
Setting Materials & Installation Notes:
- Use setting materials that meet or exceed TCNA guidelines
- Installation should be performed by qualified professionals experienced with mosaic products
