Modern Stone Grout Colorant Sealer is a professional-grade water-based grout colorant designed to restore, recolor, and protect existing grout joints. Its advanced pigmented formula bonds directly to grout surfaces, creating a uniform appearance while helping protect against future staining and discoloration.

Ideal for refreshing aged grout or changing grout color entirely, Color Sealer provides long-lasting performance and professional results for residential and commercial tile installations. Available in C-Cure grout colors for accurate color matching and restoration projects.

Application Instructions

• For grout older than six months, use Modern Stone Revive to prepare grout prior to application.
• Shake well before use.
• Apply a narrow bead of Color Sealer directly to the grout joint.
• Using a toothbrush or similar applicator, spread evenly along the grout joint using a scrubbing motion.
• While Color Sealer is still wet, wipe excess material from the surrounding tile using a damp (not wet) sponge or towel.
• Work in small manageable sections.
• Once the product has set for approximately 30 minutes to one hour, lightly clean the tile surface to remove any haze.
• Changing grout from light to dark or dark to light may require additional applications.
• Two thin coats are recommended instead of one heavy coat.
• Dry buff the surface to remove any remaining haze.
• A second coat may typically be applied after approximately 30 minutes.
• Allow light foot traffic after 3 to 4 hours.
• Keep grout dry for 7 days after application.

Maintenance: Clean with Modern Stone Balance or another suitable neutral pH tile and grout cleaner.

Coverage: Approximately 400 square feet per 8 oz bottle on standard 12" x 12" tile installations. Coverage will vary depending on grout joint width and tile size.

Handling and Storage

Close container after each use. Store only in the original container in a dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid freezing temperatures and prolonged exposure to excessive heat. Do not thin or dilute.

Caution

Product may irritate eyes and the respiratory system if sprayed. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Follow all label directions and safety precautions.

Important Warning

Because this product is pigmented, it is not recommended for use on grout joints installed with natural stone surfaces.
