Modern Stone Scorch is a high-performance sealer and coating remover formulated to strip acrylic finishes, urethane coatings, synthetic finishes, adhesives, paints, and grout haze from tile, grout, stone, concrete, and masonry surfaces. Its advanced blend of proprietary additives delivers fast, effective results while producing minimal foam and requiring no neutralization after application.

Ideal for restoration projects, surface preparation, and coating removal applications, Scorch helps remove unwanted finishes and residues before resealing, refinishing, or surface restoration. Its concentrated formula can be diluted for light stripping tasks or used at full strength for heavy-duty coating removal.

Coverage: Approximately 100 to 250 square feet per gallon depending on the type, thickness, and condition of the coating being removed.

Application Instructions

• Ensure the surface is clean before application.
• Test in an inconspicuous area to verify compatibility and desired results.
• Dilute Scorch according to stripping requirements:
  • Light Stripping: 1 part Scorch to 15 parts water
  • Medium Stripping: 1 part Scorch to 3 parts water
  • Heavy Stripping: Use full strength
• Apply liberally to the surface.
• Work in manageable areas of approximately 50 square feet or less.
• Allow the product to dwell for up to 1 hour on heavier finishes.
• Do not allow the stripper to dry on the surface. Re-wet with water if necessary.
• Agitate using a nylon scrub brush or pad after testing for surface compatibility.
• Remove loosened coating using clean cloths, a wet/dry vacuum, or extraction equipment.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Handling and Storage

Close the container after each use. Store only in the original container in a dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid freezing temperatures and prolonged exposure to excessive heat. Keep away from sparks, heat, flames, and other ignition sources.

Caution

Wear rubber gloves and eye protection during application. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with water. If skin contact occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Do not ingest. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention if necessary.
