Smiths Paint Base Boost is a professional-grade blended silicate additive designed to improve adhesion and increase durability for Smiths Color Floor and Smiths Color Wall concrete stain systems. This advanced formula reacts with unreacted calcium hydroxide found in concrete substrates to create additional bonding strength and longer-lasting stain performance.
Ideal for base and primary stain colors, Smiths Base Boost enhances substrate adhesion while maintaining the natural appearance and performance of decorative concrete finishes. It is commonly used for residential and commercial concrete flooring, patios, garages, basements, showrooms, retail spaces, and interior concrete wall applications.
Smiths Color Floor and Color Wall already provide excellent mechanical adhesion due to their modified acrylic carrier system. Adding Smiths Base Boost creates an additional chemical bond within the concrete surface for improved durability and stain longevity.
