The SunTouch ProMelt PM-072 Slab Temperature Sensor is designed to accurately monitor slab temperatures in outdoor snow melting applications. Installed directly within concrete slabs, soil, or conduit systems, this sensor provides reliable temperature feedback to help optimize snow melting system operation and improve energy efficiency.
Accurate Temperature Monitoring
The PM-072 uses a high-accuracy 10K NTC thermistor to continuously monitor slab temperatures. This information allows compatible snow melting controls to operate more efficiently by activating the heating system only when conditions require it.
Durable Outdoor Construction
The sensor is built with a rugged HDPE protective sleeve and HDPE jacketed lead wire designed for direct burial in concrete, soil, or conduit installations. Its weather-resistant construction provides long-term reliability in harsh outdoor environments.
