High Capacity Automatic Snow Melt Controller with Built-In Sensor
The ProMelt PM-5C is a powerful all-in-one automatic snow melt controller designed for larger residential and commercial snow melting systems. Featuring a built-in precipitation sensor and high-capacity 60A control, the PM-5C automatically activates connected snow melting systems when snow or freezing precipitation is detected.
This pole-mounted controller provides reliable automatic operation for snow melting driveways, walkways, ramps, patios, and commercial outdoor surfaces.
Important Installation Note:
A ContactorPro panel is required to provide power to the heating mats, cables, and control system.
Automatic Snow Detection
The PM-5C features an integrated top-mounted moisture and temperature sensor that continuously monitors outdoor weather conditions. When snow or freezing moisture is detected, the controller automatically activates the connected snow melting system.
The adjustable drying cycle keeps the system operating after snowfall stops to help eliminate remaining moisture and reduce refreezing conditions.
