Suitable for installation under concrete, asphalt, or pavers, this 70 sq ft snow melting system delivers reliable winter performance for residential and commercial applications.
Designed with a durable twin-conductor heating cable and convenient roll-out mesh construction, the WSMM system provides even heat distribution while simplifying installation. Delivering 50 watts per square foot, this electric snow melting mat helps improve winter safety, reduce snow shoveling, and minimize slippery outdoor surfaces during freezing conditions.

Suitable Coverings
Pavers and related masonry, asphalt installations, and standard concrete applications. Not suitable for lightweight concrete.
Suitable Base Materials
Crushed gravel base, sand bed, and insulation sheet installations.
Installation Depth
Minimum coverage depth is 2 inches and maximum coverage depth is 4 inches.
Installation Under Pavers
For paver applications, cover the heating mat with approximately 2 inches of sand before laying pavers. Pavers should not exceed 4 inches thick for proper heat transfer and efficient snow melting performance.
Installation Under Asphalt
The heating cable can withstand direct asphalt contact while cooling. For asphalt pours hotter than 220°F, apply a 2-inch layer of sand over the cable before pouring asphalt. Rollers exceeding 2 tons should not be used and hand rolling is recommended.
Installation Under Concrete
Concrete coverage above the heating cable should not exceed 4 inches. Re-mesh or wire mesh may be used to properly secure and position the heating cable within the concrete pour for even heat distribution.
