Outdoor moisture and temperature sensor supplied with mounting bracket
The Warmup AIRsense ODC-AIRSS is a smart and reliable outdoor snow and ice sensor designed for automatic snow melting and deicing systems. Installed outdoors, the AIRsense measures pavement temperature and detects snow or ice conditions, sending real-time information to the snow melting controller for efficient system operation.
The AIRsense connects to the snow melting controller using a 33 ft (10m) low-voltage communication cable and continuously communicates temperature and moisture conditions to activate the heating system only when needed.
The unique igloo-shaped sensor housing helps improve snow and ice detection reliability by preventing snow accumulation around the sensing area. Integrated openings around the sensor are designed for optional anti-nesting spikes to help keep birds away from the sensor surface.

The included sensor cap helps keep the sensing area clean from dirt and debris during warmer months when the snow melting system is not in operation.
Temperature readings and snow detection status are displayed directly on the controller’s backlit LCD screen for easy monitoring.
Multiple Sensor System Compatibility
The AIRsense system supports up to four snow sensors connected in sequence for multi-zone snow melting applications. Each sensor communicates independently with the control panel using a unique MAC address.
Additional sensors such as AIRsense2, AIRsense3, and AIRsense4 are required when installing multiple outdoor snow sensors within the same system configuration.
