Warmup Snow Sensor Control / Display Panel - CDP-2
Indoor remote control panel for DS Series snow melting controllers. Supplied with 12" CS-1 connection.
The Warmup CDP-2 Snow Sensor Control and Display Panel is a remote monitoring and control interface designed for use with Warmup DS Series rain and snow sensor controllers.
The CDP-2 allows users to remotely monitor and manually control outdoor-mounted snow melting control systems from a convenient indoor location.
The display panel provides control over ON, OFF, and AUTO operating modes without needing direct access to the outdoor snow melting control enclosure.
The CDP-2 is commonly used when the primary snow sensor or DS controller is installed in difficult-to-access outdoor locations such as roofs, gutters, or exterior equipment areas.
Remote Monitoring & Control Features
- Monitor snow melting system operating status
- View sensor activation state remotely
- Manual ON, OFF, and AUTO control modes
- One-cycle manual activation function
- Automatically returns to AUTO operation after manual cycle
- Compact indoor display and control interface
The CDP-2 receives power directly from the connected snow sensor and does not require batteries or a separate AC power source.
Designed for reliable operation in demanding environments, the CDP-2 supports operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.
Technical Specifications
- Compatibility: DS Series snow melting controllers
- Connection: 12" CS-1 connection included
- Power Source: Powered through connected sensor
- Operating Temperature: -40°C to +85°C
- Application: Indoor or protected outdoor use
CDP-2 Blinking Indicator Information
The CDP-2 may blink when receiving minimal standby power from the connected DS controller.
Because the CDP-2 draws low power directly from the DS controller, the AUTO indicator may blink even when the DS controller displays a steady green standby light.
When the snow melting system becomes active and the DS controller displays a flashing green light, the yellow “DEICE ON” indicator on the CDP-2 will begin blinking.
Refer to the Warmup installation manual for complete operating details and troubleshooting information.
