Installation Tips:

• Install fasteners every 8" O.C

  • 24 fasteners per 3' x 5' panel are recommended
  • Be sure to seal all penetrations with sealant
  • Compress seams into sealant / adhesive to create a firm seal or apply fiberglass tape with a paint-on waterproof membrane and coat with a second coat.
  • Use only corrosion resistant nails or screws

    I can\'t speak about the quality of the ProPanel Backer Board-Tab Washers because the Flooring Supply Shop mistakenly sent the ProPanel Cap Nails instead of Tab Washers. Not wanting to delay my project I decided to go ahead and use the Cap Nails since they are an acceptable fastener for the ProPanel Backer Board. They did arrive promptly and the quality of the product was excellent...although, I still would have preferred to get the product that I actually ordered.
