Question: What is the minimum and maximum cutting depths using Ecoguard CX Series?
Answer: When used with a brand new 5’” diameter blade, there is no minimum cutting depth, however the maximum cutting depth is 1-3/32” (28mm). However, when used with brand new 4-1/2” diameter blade, there is no minimum cutting depth, however the maximum cutting depth is 7/8” (23mm).

Question: What are the cutting depth increment indicators?
Answer: The height adjustment system is made 3/16” (5mm) increments to adjust the cutting depth.

Question: Can I purchase parts for the Ecoguard Dust Collection Covers?
Answer: Certain parts and accessories are available online at www.alpha-tools.com.

Question: How can I connect the Ecoguard CX Series with my HEPA vacuum?
Answer: The Ecoguard CX Series comes with a hose connector for the Flexible Connector Hose for popular 2-1/4” dust hoses. Alpha® offers an 18” length part #500026 and a 54” length part #500073 for your convenience.

Question: How can I adjust blade position to the cutting guide?
Answer: Since we added an adjustable cut line indicator, you will adjust the indicator instead of changing the position of blade.

Question: How do I know if the Ecoguard CX Series fits on my grinder?
Answer: Unfortunately, we cannot list all grinders available on the market since they keep changing. However, most likely, you can use the Ecoguard CX Series on any brand and any model whether it is corded or cordless.

Question: How can I cut straight?
Answer: You can secure an Alpha® Guide Rail or similar item on the surface then push the Stabilizing Bar against the guide to cut straight.

Question: While I was cutting a stone slab on top of 2” x 4” rails, dust breached a lot. What did I do wrong?
Answer: When the blade cut through the stone slab, there is a space for dust to blow, that is the reason for this problem. Alpha® suggests laying the stone slab on top of Styrofoam Sheets or cementitious boards and cut together with the substrate. This will encapsulate the cutting edge so that all dust would be delivered to the vacuum.
