Type 6 or straight sided black silicon carbide grinding stones are generally used to grind the edges of Granite, Marble and other hard materials. These are available in 4x2, 5x2 and 5x2.5 inch with 5/8-11 thread in the grits of 16, 24, 36, 46, 60, 80, 120, and 220.
