“Wet Look” Paver Sealer is the ideal one-step, easy to apply, product for sealing interlocking concrete pavers and stabilizing joint sand by locking it into place. This state of the art formula offers exceptional, high gloss “wet look” protection with stain resistance (even against oil and grease), resists color fading, efflorescence, weeds and mildew growth on the surface.

COVERAGE

100-250 square feet per gallon depending on porosity of surface and method of application. Second coat will go 50% further. Do not puddle or over apply.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Prior to application of Glaze ‘N Seal products, surface must be thoroughly clean and dry. Remove all dirt, oil, grease, paint, efflorescence and non-compatible sealers. General cleaning may be done using Glaze ‘N Seal Heavy Duty Cleaner for Concrete and Masonry. For efflorescence and hard water stains, use Glaze ‘N Seal Efflorescence Remover. When acid has been used for any reason, surface must be neutralized. Allow at least 48 hours of drying time before sealing (72 hours if power washing has been done or if temperature is cool). New concrete pavers should cure 14 days or more before sealing. Applying sealer to a damp or incompletely cured surface may cause a hazy appearance or loss of adhesion.

After tamping down the joint sand (regular or polymeric) and sweeping the application area clean, be sure the sand is at least 1/8-inch below the surface of the pavers. The sand should be dry to its full depth before sealing for the best results.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Use garden-type, solvent resistant sprayer, low pressure airless sprayer, or natural bristle brush and non-foam squeegee for application.

Rollers are not recommended when applying the Wet Look Paver Sealer. Apply one coat in liberal, saturating manner so that joints are saturated with Paver Sealer. Ensure that all joints are flooded to maximize sealer soaking into the dry sand. Squeegee any excess product to avoid puddling on the surface. Allow additional drying time in moist, cool climates. An optional second coat may be applied after two hours if desired to increase protection and gloss. For added slip resistance, Glaze ‘N Seal Grip ‘N Seal slip resistance additive may be added to the second coat of sealer.

LIMITATIONS

Apply in temperatures between 45º and 90º F. Air and surface temperature should be above 45º F for 24 hours before and after sealing. Clean up applicators with lacquer thinner or similar solvent immediately after use.
Do not use if hydrostatic pressure is likely due to heavy water runoff, poor drainage or a waterproof membrane under the surface. Use on porous surfaces only. For professional use only.

This super-tough film gives a rich "Wet Look", resists chemicals, abrasion and stains.
