SunTouch WarmWire Strap is designed to securely fasten radiant floor heating wire during electric floor heating installations. The updated strap design improves wire spacing flexibility, installation speed, and overall floor heating system performance for tile, stone, bathroom, kitchen, and residential heated floor applications.

New WarmWire Strap Features

• Dual rows of tabs: Offset tab positioning allows easier wire spacing adjustments and cleaner layout flexibility.
• Longer and narrower tabs: Improved flexibility better accommodates larger heating cable sizes.
• Wider strap design: Increased width helps create a flatter and more stable floor heating installation.
• Multiple installation methods: The strap may be secured using screws, staples, or approved spray adhesive systems for concrete and slab applications.

WarmWire Strap Installation

• Unroll the Strap and cut it to the required installation length.
• Secure the WarmWire cable to the strap at the desired spacing.
• Fold the tabs securely over the heating wire.
• Verify cable spacing before applying mortar or self-leveling materials.
• Position the vertical tabs toward the wall and away from the heated area.
• Install additional strap sections where longer cable runs require extra support.
• Use the horizontal tabs to help maintain straight cable alignment.
• Avoid creating zig-zag cable patterns that may affect spacing consistency.

The WarmWire Strap is engineered to securely hold radiant heating cables in position during floor heating installations and mortar applications.

Spray Adhesive Installation Method

Spray adhesive may be used to secure WarmWire Strap installations over concrete slabs, masonry surfaces, and other hard substrates.

Apply adhesive evenly to the back side of the strap and allow proper curing time according to the adhesive manufacturer’s recommendations.

Additional screws may be installed at each end of the strap if extra holding strength is required during installation.

Screw Installation Method

Galvanized self-tapping masonry screws may be installed every 6 to 10 inches to secure the strap firmly to the floor.

Ensure the strap remains flat against the substrate during installation. Additional screws may be used where necessary.

The updated WarmWire Strap may also be used together with older style straps to reduce installation waste.

The original WarmWire Strap design was used to secure radiant heating wire at consistent spacing intervals during floor heating installations.

• Anchor straps approximately every 3 to 4 feet across the floor.
• One 25 ft. coil typically covers approximately 40 to 50 sq. ft.
• The updated WarmWire Strap improves installation flexibility and wire management.
