The Nuheat FTG-F1P is a programmable thermostat designed to control 120VAC electric floor heating systems. It provides programmable floor temperature control with separate Comfort and Economy settings, automatic and manual operating modes, and four programmable temperature changes for each day of the week.
The FTG-F1P uses an external floor temperature sensor to monitor the heated floor and regulate the heating system according to the selected temperature. With built-in Class A 5mA GFCI protection, a digital display, and flexible programming options, it is designed for indoor electric radiant floor heating applications.

7-Day Programmable Floor Heating Control
The FTG-F1P allows a separate heating schedule to be programmed for each day of the week. Up to four temperature changes per day can be programmed to match different daily routines, such as waking up, leaving home, returning home, and going to bed.
The thermostat provides separate Comfort and Economy temperature settings. The Economy setting can be used during periods when the desired floor temperature is lower, while the Comfort setting provides the selected temperature during scheduled heating periods.
Automatic, Manual and Temporary Override Modes
In Automatic mode, the thermostat follows the programmed heating schedule. Manual mode maintains the selected floor temperature instead of following the programmed schedule.
A temporary temperature adjustment can also be made without permanently changing the programmed schedule. The programmed settings can be resumed through the thermostat's operating controls.
Floor Temperature Sensor
The FTG-F1P uses an external floor temperature sensor to monitor the temperature of the heated floor. The included sensor comes with a 15 ft extension for installation with the electric floor heating system.
The thermostat activates the heating system when additional heat is required and stops the heating output when the selected floor temperature is reached.
Built-In Class A GFCI Protection
The FTG-F1P includes Class A 5mA GFCI protection designed to help protect against electrical ground faults. The dedicated TEST function allows the GFCI to be checked after installation, while the RESET function restores normal operation after a successful test.

Temperature and Time Display
The FTG-F1P allows the temperature to be displayed in either °C or °F. The thermostat also supports either a 12-hour or 24-hour time display through its configuration settings.

Installation Information
The FTG-F1P is designed for 120VAC indoor electric floor heating applications. The connected resistive heating load must not exceed 16.7A or 2,000W at 120VAC.
The thermostat includes built-in GFCI protection and requires proper line and load connections for correct operation. The included floor temperature sensor should be installed and connected according to the manufacturer's instructions.
