This Olive marble leaves mosaic tile comes on a mesh backing for easy installation. It is perfect for creating decorative features, accent walls, or cutting down for use as borders and backsplashes.

Applications include floors, walls, kitchen backsplash, bathrooms, wet areas, and exterior frost-free zones.

Care & Maintenance:
As with all natural stone tiles, sealing is highly recommended. A penetrating sealer reduces staining risks and makes cleaning easier with stone-safe products.

Installation Instructions

Recommended Substrates:

• Properly cured mortar beds - ANSI A108.1B (minimum 7 days cure).
• Cementitious backer units (CBU) - ANSI A118.9.
• Concrete slabs cured for at least 28 days.
• Gypsum board (dry areas only) - ASTM C1396 / C1396M-04.
• Note: ANSI A108A-2.1.8 membrane is required behind CBU in wet areas.
• Note: All glass, metal, and resin-backed mosaics must be set at least 8” away from naked flame.

Setting Materials & Methods:

• Use setting materials approved by your tile and stone dealer.
• Products must meet or exceed TCNA guidelines.
• Hire a licensed contractor experienced with mosaic tile installation.
• Always cut metal mosaics slowly, with the finished side down, to prevent damage.

Do not use adhesive tape directly on Victoria Metals products.

Grout Selection:
Avoid sanded or abrasive premixed grouts on scratch-sensitive surfaces. Always consult your grout manufacturer before installation.

Additional Notes:

• Pre-seal stone mosaics prior to grouting.
• Glass, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum mosaics generally do not require sealing.
• Use only water-based sealers with Sydney Harbor Metals.

Pro Tip: Always order at least 10% extra material to account for cuts, shapes, and potential breakage.

Sealer Impact: An enhancing sealer will deepen and darken the Blue Atlas marble color tones.

Recommendation: We suggest sealing with a high-quality penetrating stone sealer prior to installation.
