The Recess-It Rectangle Ready to Tile Shower Niche by Innovis is a durable recessed wall niche designed for tile showers, bathroom walls, steam showers, and wet room installations. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant alloyed aluminum with an elastomeric waterproofing and anti-fracture coating, this ready-to-tile niche provides long-lasting built-in shower storage with a clean modern appearance.
Perfect for storing shampoo bottles, soap, razors, and shower accessories, the recessed niche design maximizes usable shower space while integrating seamlessly into porcelain tile, ceramic tile, marble, granite, and natural stone shower installations.
The Recess-It niche installs quickly using supplied wall fasteners and does not require complicated framing or additional waterproofing membranes, making it ideal for residential and commercial bathroom remodeling projects.

Installation Notes
The Recess-It niche is designed for installation over approved tile substrates and may be installed with or without wood blocking. A bead of caulk should be applied behind the mounting flange during installation to create a waterproof seal between the niche and substrate.
The integrated waterproof flange may slightly raise the surrounding tile surface if not feathered properly. Installers may feather surrounding thin-set or recess the substrate slightly for a flush tile appearance.
The preset slope on the niche bottom is designed to help direct moisture away from the wall cavity and reduce the risk of mold or mildew development.
Waterproof Performance
Recess-It niches feature a structural aluminum shell combined with a waterproof elastomeric coating to help prevent moisture penetration inside wall cavities. The positive slope design and non-organic materials help reduce moisture retention and eliminate direct wood-to-unit contact.
Floating Shelf Compatible
The optional Floating Shelf accessory allows installers to create reinforced tiled shelving inside the niche for additional shower storage and organization. The perforated aluminum shelf integrates cleanly within tile grout joints for a seamless custom appearance.
