The ProMelt PM-095 is an aerial-mounted snow sensor designed to detect falling snow and automatically activate snow melting systems. When connected to a compatible ProMelt controller, it helps ensure timely system operation for safer, snow-free surfaces.
System Function:
This sensor detects active snowfall and signals the control system to start heating. System shutdown is managed by the controller timer or manual override.
Installation:
The PM-095 mounts easily to a standard 1/2 inch metal or PVC conduit or pole, positioning it for accurate exposure to weather conditions. It is ideal for both new installations and retrofitting existing snow melting systems.
