Indoor Monitoring and Manual Control for Snow Melting Systems
The SunTouch PM-DP Snow Sensor Control and Display Panel provides convenient indoor monitoring and manual operation for ProMelt snow melting systems. Instead of guessing whether your snow melting system is operating, the PM-DP allows you to instantly verify system activity with easy-to-read LED indicators and simple push-button controls.
Compatible With:
SunTouch DS-2B, DS-224, DS-5, and DS-8 rain and snow sensor controllers.

Simple Installation and Wiring
The PM-DP installs into standard single or multi-gang electrical boxes using the included mounting screws. The panel connects to the snow sensor through a CS-1 remote control and monitor cable using low-voltage 5-conductor wiring.
Recommended installation cable is 22 AWG shielded cable with a maximum installation distance of up to 800 feet from the connected snow sensor.
System Monitoring and Operation
The PM-DP provides three operating modes:
- Standby Mode
- Automatic Snow Detection Mode
- Manual ON Cycle
The Manual ON feature allows users to start one complete snow melting cycle without permanently overriding automatic operation. Once the drying cycle is complete, the system automatically returns to automatic snow detection mode.
