Everything worked out fine. However I think that the instructions for the quickpitch ring and how it works with the ebbe drain could be explained a little better. The ring works great with the drain body but not well with the weep hole protector. I ended up using some pea gravel and not using the supplied weep hole protector. I also didnt use the inside corners supplied in the kit. They would have just added more material and more furring of the walls to get the backer board to sit flat. Overall I am satisfied.
