The Lauxes Grates Pop Waste Outlet is designed for use with Lauxes custom linear drain systems, providing a durable and professional waste outlet connection for residential and commercial drainage installations. Available in both 2-inch and 3-inch sizes, these outlet components allow flexibility when designing custom drainage systems while maintaining compatibility with Lauxes drain assemblies.

Cutting Instructions and Installation:

For ease of cutting Lauxes grates, use a compound miter saw fitted with a multi-material cutting blade with 80 teeth or more. A Lauxes TCT hole saw is recommended when drilling waste outlet openings.

1. Cut the bottom tray 1/8" (3mm) shorter than the desired length to allow end caps to be fitted.
2. Cut the top grate 1/32" (1mm) shorter than the bottom tray to allow easy roll-in installation and a clean fit.
3. Using an appropriately sized Lauxes hole saw, drill the waste outlet opening to align with the floor waste pipe.
4. Insert the end caps into the bottom tray and secure with a bead of silicone on the outside of the tray.
5. Apply silicone around the waste outlet lip and secure it to the underside of the bottom tray at the drilled opening.

Installation Notes:

• Use a template during installation to prevent contact between the grate and wet cement-based products.
• Clean regularly using mild soapy water.
• Do not use abrasive cloths or acidic cleaning chemicals.
• Use a neutral cure silicone when bonding tile.
