Installation Recommendations

Recommended Substrates:

• Properly cured mortar beds meeting ANSI A108.1B
• Cement backer board installations meeting ANSI A118.9
• Concrete slabs cured a minimum of 28 days
• Gypsum board in dry interior applications only

Important Installation Notes:

• Waterproof membranes are required behind cement board in wet areas.
• Natural stone should be sealed before grouting.
• White polymer modified thin-set mortar is strongly recommended.
• Purchase at least 10% additional material for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
• Shade, color, texture, and size variations are normal with natural stone products.

Cutting & Installation:

• Cut mosaic sheets from the back using a utility knife between grout joints.
• Use a wet saw with a diamond blade for cutting individual stone pieces.
• Use a soft rubber grout float to ensure proper tile adhesion.
• Use only pH-neutral cleaners for maintenance and cleaning.

Maintenance & Care:

Clean with a soft bristle brush and pH-neutral cleaner only. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry using a soft towel.

Professional installation by a licensed tile contractor following TCNA installation guidelines is strongly recommended.
