Installation Guide

Recommended Substrates:

• Properly cured mortar beds meeting ANSI A108.1B
• Cement backer board installations meeting ANSI A118.9
• Concrete slabs cured a minimum of 28 days
• Gypsum board in dry interior applications only

Important Installation Notes:

• Waterproof membranes are required behind cement board in wet areas.
• Natural stone should be sealed prior to grouting.
• Purchase at least 10% additional material for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
• Color, shade, texture, and size variations are normal with natural stone products.

Important Grout Selection Notice:

Sanded grout and some premixed urethane grouts containing micro glass beads may scratch sensitive polished marble surfaces. Always verify grout compatibility with your tile installer, grout manufacturer, or stone supplier before installation.

Clean natural stone surfaces using pH-neutral cleaners and soft bristle brushes only. Avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive scrubbing materials that may damage the polished finish.
