The Nuheat FTG-F2P is a programmable thermostat designed to control electric floor heating systems. It operates on 120VAC power and regulates the heating output based on the selected temperature and measured floor temperature.

Programmable Floor Heating Control

The FTG-F2P allows a separate heating schedule to be programmed for each day of the week. Four temperature changes can be programmed each day to match typical daily routines, including wake-up, leaving home, returning home, and bedtime.

The thermostat provides separate Comfort and Economy temperature settings. This allows the floor heating temperature to be reduced during periods when full heating is not required and increased again during scheduled comfort periods.

Multiple Operating Modes

The FTG-F2P provides both Automatic and Manual operating modes. Automatic mode follows the programmed heating schedule, while Manual mode maintains the selected floor temperature.

The thermostat also allows a temporary temperature adjustment without permanently changing the programmed schedule. The programmed settings can be resumed through the thermostat's operating mode controls.

Floor Temperature Control

The FTG-F2P uses an external floor temperature sensor to monitor the temperature of the heated floor. The included sensor is supplied with a 15 ft extension for installation with the floor heating system.

The thermostat activates the heating system when additional heat is required and stops the heating output when the selected floor temperature is reached.

Built-In Class A GFCI Protection

The FTG-F2P includes Class A 5mA GFCI protection designed to help protect against electrical ground faults. A dedicated TEST function allows the GFCI to be checked after installation, and the RESET function restores normal operation after a successful test.
