Programmable Floor Heating Control
The ADG features a four-event daily programming system that allows users to establish different temperatures for morning, away, home, and nighttime periods.
Three weekly scheduling options are available: 5:2, 6:1, and 7:0. Users can customize heating schedules to match their daily routines and reduce temperatures when heating is not required.
Adaptive Start Function
The Adaptive Start function calculates when the heating system needs to turn on to reach the desired temperature at the scheduled time. The thermostat learns how long the heating system takes to reach the selected temperature and adjusts its starting time accordingly.
Dual Temperature Sensors and Control Modes
The ADG includes a built-in room temperature sensor and an external floor temperature sensor. These sensors allow the thermostat to operate in different configurations:
- Room Temperature Control: Uses the built-in sensor to maintain the desired room temperature.
- Floor Temperature Control: Uses the external sensor to maintain the selected floor temperature.
- Room Control with Floor Limitation: Controls room temperature while monitoring minimum and maximum floor temperatures.
- Regulator Mode: Controls heating without using a temperature sensor.
The floor temperature limitation feature is particularly useful for temperature-sensitive flooring materials such as wood and laminate.
Built-In 15mA EGFPD Protection
The ADG includes a built-in 15mA EGFPD (Equipment Ground Fault Protection Device) designed to help protect against electrical ground faults.
The protection device monitors the electrical circuit and interrupts power to the heating system when a ground fault condition is detected. The thermostat includes test and reset functions for checking the protection system.
Important: The ADG uses 15mA EGFPD protection, which is different from Class A 5mA GFCI protection. Additional Class A GFCI protection must be provided where required by applicable electrical codes.
Energy Monitoring and Additional Features
The ADG includes an energy consumption monitoring function that displays the heating system's operating percentage over the last 2 days, 30 days, and 365 days.
Additional features include manual operation, temporary temperature override, child lock, adjustable temperature limits, Fahrenheit or Celsius display, and a built-in clock with backup function.

Installation Information
The ADG is designed for indoor installation with compatible electric floor heating systems. The connected heating load must not exceed the thermostat's 15A maximum resistive load.
The external floor sensor should be installed between two heating cables or wires according to the manufacturer's instructions. All electrical connections must comply with applicable local electrical codes.
Because this thermostat connects directly to line voltage, installation should be performed by a qualified electrician. Verify whether additional GFCI protection is required for your installation.
Recommended Applications
The ADG is suitable for residential electric radiant floor heating installations in bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and other areas with heated floors. Its dual-sensor configuration makes it particularly useful for applications requiring room temperature control with floor temperature protection.
Important Product Information
The ADG supports 120VAC, 208VAC, and 240VAC systems with a maximum resistive load of 15A. Its built-in 15mA EGFPD protection is not equivalent to Class A 5mA GFCI protection.
Before purchasing, verify electrical compatibility, sensor requirements, heating load, and applicable ground fault protection requirements.
