Smith Poly-WB+ is a high-performance, 2-component waterborne aliphatic polyurethane sealer and topcoat designed to provide a hard, durable protective wear surface for decorative concrete and resinous floor coating systems. Suitable for interior and exterior applications, it offers excellent resistance to abrasion, staining, chemicals, and long-term UV exposure.

Designed for commercial and residential environments, Poly-WB+ helps protect floors exposed to moderate to heavy foot traffic, including residential garage floors. Its clear finish enhances the color and depth of stained concrete while providing a durable protective coating.

Coverage:

Approximate coverage per mixed gallon depends on finish, surface texture, porosity, and application thickness.

• High Gloss: Approximately 321-400 sq. ft. per gallon on smooth surfaces and 250-321 sq. ft. per gallon on textured surfaces.
• Matte (Low Sheen): Approximately 460-534 sq. ft. per gallon on smooth surfaces and 321-400 sq. ft. per gallon on textured surfaces.

Important Surface Preparation and Primer Requirements:

Direct application to bare concrete, stone, and pavers requires an appropriate primer, except when applying over Smith's Color Floor or Color Wall stains as specified by the manufacturer.

• Smith's Poly-SB - Provides a wet-look, color-enhancing primer.
• Smith's Poly-SEAL - Provides a natural appearance without color enhancement.
• Smith's Epoxy FW38 - For interior grind-and-seal priming applications only.

When applying over existing resinous coating systems, proper surface preparation and adhesion testing are important. Follow Smith Paint Products' technical data sheet for substrate preparation, compatibility, and application requirements.

Mixing and Application:

Poly-WB+ is a two-component product. Follow the manufacturer's current product data sheet for the correct mixing ratio, mixing procedure, application instructions, and working time for the selected finish. Do not use application instructions from other Smith polyurethane products.

Important Application Notes:

• Apply within the manufacturer's specified temperature and humidity conditions.
• Do not apply when ambient humidity exceeds the manufacturer's stated limits or when the dew point is too close to the surface temperature.
• Do not allow the coating to puddle or exceed the manufacturer's maximum recommended film thickness.
• Protect the newly coated surface from cleaning chemicals and other liquids during the specified curing period.
• Allow the coating to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions before placing the floor into service.

Storage and Shelf Life:

• Store indoors between 50°F and 100°F.
• Shelf life: 1 year in original, unopened containers.
• Once opened: 30 days, according to the manufacturer.
