Simple Steps to Install the ClearPath Curbless Shower Pan System
Before and After Installation
The ClearPath Curbless Shower Pan System is designed to provide a modern, barrier-free shower solution while improving accessibility and maintaining a clean, contemporary look.
Ideal for residential and commercial applications, this system allows for level-entry showers that are both functional and visually appealing.
Step 1: Determine the shower area and remove the existing subfloor as needed.
Step 2: Install 2" x 4" blocking with the top positioned 1/4" below the subfloor level.
Connect the drain stub to the drain plate and secure all connections properly.
Step 3: Install TI-ProBoard perpendicular to the joists, ensuring full support.
Step 4: Apply and float a properly sloped mortar bed to direct water toward the drain.
Step 5: Allow the mortar bed to fully cure before proceeding.
Step 6: Install a waterproofing membrane over the prepared surface.
Important: Always install tile according to Tile Council of North America (TCNA) guidelines to ensure proper performance and durability.
