TI ProBoard Installation Guide
Save time and money with TI ProBoard – Made in the USA.
Installation Instructions

Step 1: Place TI ProBoard panels directly on the joists.
Step 2: Start with the first board (with slot) at the edge. Make sure it is straight and square.
Step 3: Use a chalk line to keep alignment accurate.
Step 4: Interlock each board and fasten to every joist.

Existing Decks
Existing decks can be tiled over if structurally sound. Ensure proper slope for water runoff.
Fastening Methods
Plywood / Backer Board: Use screws, nails, or staples.
Concrete / Slabs: Use spray adhesive (such as 3M Type 90). Masonry screws may be added to hold in place while curing.

Joining Boards
Place joints centered on joists.
Important: Do not run seams continuously on the same joist. All seams must be staggered.
Each board must span at least 3 joists.

Mortar Application
Mix mortar per manufacturer instructions and trowel level with the tops of the ribs, ensuring full coverage.
Recommended: Mer-Krete Underlayment C or equivalent.
Cutting Tip: Use a wet saw when cutting TI ProBoard.

Edging
Install TI Edging while the thinset is still wet. Press firmly against the deck edge for a clean finish.

Note: Panels are also available in black.
