The Ebbe E205 Drain Bond Adapter is designed to convert compatible 3-inch three-piece shower drain fittings for use with Ebbe E4400 Drain Bodies and Ebbe Square Shower Drain systems. This adapter creates a custom 3-inch to 2-inch threaded transition, making it possible to upgrade existing shower drains without replacing the entire drain assembly.

Installation Overview
- Bond the E205 adapter into the inside diameter of the threaded barrel portion of the 3-inch drain riser using PVC cement or epoxy adhesive.
- Cut off the lower portion of the 3-inch threaded barrel just above the adapter, leaving approximately 1 inch of material.
- Thread the modified barrel assembly into the drain clamping flange and install the Ebbe E4400 Drain Body into the adapter.
Compatibility
The E205 adapter is designed for use when converting compatible 3-inch nominal three-piece shower drain fittings to accept Ebbe E4400 drain bodies and Ebbe Square Shower Drain systems.
Important Note
Adapters such as the E205 are often required when connecting Ebbe Square Shower Drain systems to existing shower drain assemblies during remodeling and retrofit applications.
