The Raimondi Diamond Rough Finish Wheel is used in Step 2 of the Raimondi Bulldog profiling and finishing process. This segmented wheel refines the profile after the initial milling stage, preparing it for the subsequent honed, satin, and gloss finishing steps.
Choose the profile size that matches your application: 3/8" (10 mm) or 5/8" (15 mm). Both versions feature a 20 mm arbor and 160-grit specification. The wheel diameter varies by model.

Five-Step Profiling and Finishing Process
- Step 1 - Milling: The segmented milling wheel roughs out the profile shape.
- Step 2 - Rough Finish: This segmented diamond wheel refines the initial profile.
- Step 3 - Honed Finish: The yellow 400-grit wheel produces a honed finish.
- Step 4 - Satin Finish: The red 800-grit wheel produces a satin finish.
- Step 5 - Gloss Finish: The grey 1500-grit wheel completes the process with a glossy finish.

Additional Applications
The milling and rough-finish wheels are also used to create 45° bevels with compatible Bulldog machines and back-finishers. The milling and rough-finish wheels are available in 3/8" (10 mm) and 5/8" (15 mm) profile sizes.
Raimondi states that its wheels are tested and balanced to provide profiling results with compatible Bulldog machines.
